Welcome Spring, 

This is a wonderful time of year.

Spring is a time for renewal or Re-Birth. 

Newly planted seedlings coming up, 

the 80 year old Silver Mable getting it leaves, more birds and wild life in the North Fourty and sitting on the patio reading the paper in the morning or enjoying a home cooked meal under the stars... AHHHH    Welcome Spring

Farmer Us

Well its been about 5 weeks since we picked up our chicks. You can see the 6 chicks. 3 yellow & 3 Brown, we don't know what they are we just know they will lay eggs.

Our Coop will be coming 4/26. it is a Tractor style and will be able to move around the yard so the Chicks can eat fresh worms, crubs and greens. This make for better eggs. Chicken poop by the way is very good for the lawn and garden.

The Chickens have come a long way in 5 weeks.

Between rainy days we gave the chicks some outdoor time.

they enjoyed themselves very much, as did Maisie, Rosie and Coco.

We will be going to "Tractor Supply" to get the Next level of chicken feed and larger water bottles for the chicks. Plus now they have to have gravel or grit to help digest the food they eat.

The Chicks don't make much noise just little peeps and are kinda friendly, no scratching or pecking.

The pecking order is starting to come around we see who is Alpha Chick. The Brown Chicks are going to be in the bottom 3 unless they can get together and over through the Yellow Hens.

If this rain ever ends we will have the Chicks out in the yard with their new home.

More about that when it comes time.

Big Snag

Well the place we were going to share in the Greenhills shopping center has decided to move. Which leaves us with no place to go. Luckly we have more ideas.

Should we take the idea bigger and try and get a really cheap lease?

Take the show on the road to Fairs and Farmers Markets?

Do we do just Dog Treats or both Coffee and Dog Treats?

Coffee would do well, but...

Slides of Life

I sat down with two (Large) boxes of slides, negatives and a few prints my Dad sent me. I started about 10 in the morning and ended around 10 that night, did take time for dinner and a Mary.

I've started with the slides and have them in Month and Year order. 1959 to 1989. There are a lot of slides without dates stamped on them, this will take more time. I hope to have these all on the computer and a web address for my family to get a look at the old times.

What wonderful memories. But why did my oldest sister get so many damn photos, shes about 60% of the lot. Anyway thats another story.

I have only but about 300 on the computer so far.

It may take a lot longer then I thought.

Here is a picture of me about "20" years ago. This is my first time dancing at Disneyland, Mid 80,s. The group I danced with is The Orange Blossom Cloggers. We are on the old Space stage before it was covered. I believe this is Nov and it is a private party for the National Square Dance Association. Who new in a short time I would be cast in Parades.

Welcome 2011

Well we are about a week into 2011 and I have a cold. Robert has a cold also and we have been enjoying my unemployment coughing and sneezing all over the place, at least together.

I have been doing my homework on the new business, looking at lots of websites etc.

We have the go ahead to splint the shop with a friend of ours.

We should be going t look at the shop in the next couple of days. I have too look into plumbing, electrical and all that jazz...
